Jorōgumo

First character design i posed on Artstation
I created a character model based on the Japanese Yokai, the Jorōgumo.
The aim for this project was to create a unique character with an interesting silhouette. I wanted to add some alien-like features to it to emphasize the contrast between tradition and futurism.
I really enjoyed bringing to life a character that started of as a sketch
